Thanks to BGE’s Steve Pedri and Mike Borlie, and David Conrad of Conrad’s Ruth Villa, the Peale’s gas lights have been restored to their former brilliance! Two street lights in front of the Peale, and two in the historic back garden, once again shine brightly with gas light.
For #GivingTuesday, the Peale is offering special tours of the first museum purpose-built in the United States and its vintage gas lights.
