This is a space for reflection on the past and how it is impacting our present. How are the 19th century experiences in education differ from our current ones? How are they the same? How can we use those past experiences to shape current policy and norms in our schools in Baltimore? What strategies used by the African American community in the 19th and 20th century, in order to rally for their children, can be used today?
