The Peale is excited to share stories and photos by Daisy Brown, a native Baltimorean and our staff photographer and storytelling ambassador, who is working on an audio-diary project called, Stoop Shoots. From a safe distance, Daisy is taking photos of people in East Baltimore on their stoops and in the surrounding neighborhood, and inviting them to share their stories. She’s also capturing black-and-white vignettes of street corners, parks, and sidewalks in East Baltimore.
“Stoop Shoots” is part of our ongoing Baltimore storytelling program, an authentic way to discover the people and places of the city. To date, we have shared more than 1,500 stories online, at the Peale Center, and in Baltimore’s communities.
