As a center for Baltimore Stories, the Peale serves as a platform where new narratives of the city in all media are shared by the city’s storytellers: its griots, performers, artists, architects, historians, students, educators, and other creators.
Storyteller members receive promotional and funding support, access to opportunities, and invitations to attend and present at Peale events. Memberships are $50/year, and sponsorships are available for those who cannot afford the membership fee. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, a limited number of Sponsored Storyteller Memberships are made available for FREE to Baltimore storytellers. Sponsor a Storyteller Membership today.

As a storyteller member, the Peale will promote your live and virtual events through our promotional platforms. If you have an upcoming event, please add the event information here and a graphic so that we can help spread the word on Storytelling events from Peale members.
Invitations to Present at Peale Events
Occasionally the Peale will turn to its storyteller members to seek content for live and virtual programs. As a member, you are now on the roster to receive notification of such opportunities.

Baker Artist Portfolios
Peale Storyteller Members are invited to create a portfolio on the Baker Artist Portfolios. Storyteller Members who have a Baker Portfolio will be included on the Peale’s dedicated page on the Baker Artist Portfolios website. The Baker Artist Portfolios provide a free, online platform to showcase your work to the world, and Portfolios included on the Peale’s page will also be accessible to the 50,000 annual visitors to the Baker site each year.
